TCA is complying with COVID-19 Rules as applied under the Industry Restart Guidelines for Physical Recreation Indoor and Outdoor. The following guidelines are provided for all instructors and students.
Please do not attend classes if you are feeling unwell or are showing any signs of the following Covid-19 symptoms: fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss or change in sense of smell or taste. Please seek medical attention or attend a Covid-19 testing site and follow their instructions.
If you or anyone in your household answers yes to any of the following questions:
· have travelled in any known Covid-19 declared ‘hotspots’ in the last 14 days, or
· have been in contact with anyone who has or has had Covid-19 in the past 14 days, or
· is suspected of having Covid-19, or
· has been directed to self-isolate
Please do not attend any class until cleared by DHHS and advise TCA immediately by email to info@taichiaustralia.com.au or phone 0415 993 399.
Register: All TCA students must register their name and contact details at the commencement of each class.
Indoor Class Size: 4sqm/person, with a class maximum of 50, excluding instructors/staff necessary to run the class.
Outdoor Class Size: 4sqm/person, with a class maximum of 100, excluding instructors/staff necessary to run the class.
Social Distancing: Please maintain a physical distance of 1.5m between participants whenever possible.
Hygiene: Adequate hand sanitiser is provided for participants at entry/exit points.
Face Masks: Please carry face masks at all times. They need not be worn indoors unless social distancing cannot be maintained however, they may be worn in class if desired.
Separate Entry/exit points are provided where possible, eg doors, lane markings. Due to density rules, these areas must not become congested between classes. Please wait outside if density rules are likely to be breached.
Common Areas: eg toilets and kitchen areas, will be cleaned as per requirements. Please respect these areas and ensure social distancing is maintained.
Signage: is at entry points displaying maximum capacity, physical distancing, face mask restrictions and hygiene requirements.
Other: TCA will implement any other measures, if and when government requirements change.
