Andy has been studying Tai Chi since 2001 and teaching since 2005. He teaches Beijing Bare Hand 12, 24 and 42 Forms, 32 and 42 Sword Forms, Chen Fan and Wushu. His expertise is teaching Contemporary Tai Chi and Wushu to international competition standard.
In Andy’s other life he works in the Electricals Industry. He enjoys soccer, travelling, AFL and collecting movies.

Andy has extensive live-in training in China and Australia:
- China Olympic School, Beijing Sport University, China
- Henan Professional Wushu Team, China with Nie Jian Guo who has trained many world Wushu Champions
- Professors Men Hui Feng and Yang Yu Bing, Beijing Sport University
- Master Chen Jing – World Wushu Champion.
2009 – WPTA National Competition, Melbourne – Gold Medal in Tai Chi 42 Bare Hand Form
2009 – Australian National Wushu Championships, Perth – National Grand Tai Chi Champion, 5 Gold Medals in Tai Chi 24, 42 and Contemporary Tai Chi Bare Hand Forms, and 32 and Contemporary Tai Chi Sword Forms
2007 – Australian National Wushu Championship, Canberra – Gold Medal in Tai Chi 42 Bare Hand Form
2006 – Australian National Wushu Championships, Gold Coast – National Grand Tai Chi Champion, 2 Gold Medals, Contemporary Tai Chi Bare Hand and Sword Forms plus 1 Silver Medal in Tai Chi 42 Bare Hand Form
2005 – Australian National Wushu Championships, Sydney – Silver Medal in Tai Chi Sun Style
Andy has been a member of the Australian National Team at the 8th, 9th and 10th World Wushu/Tai Chi Championships in Vietnam 2005, China 2007 and Canada 2009.
Andy works in the Electrical Industry. He enjoys watching AFL (Collingwood), travel, snorkelling and diving, listening to music and collecting movies.
Andy was born in the Year of the Pig and teaches at Brighton and South Yarra.
