The Qigong Exercise Therapy for Neck Pain (Cervical Spondylosis) gives pain relief to the muscles, ligaments and tendons in the neck and shoulders.
Neck pain is increasing today as more people adopt computer technology. Neck and shoulder muscles tighten as they are kept in the same position for long periods of time. Mobility is limited and muscle strength is reduced. Fingers can become numb, vision may be blurred and dizziness occurs.
Eight movements are performed in a standing position. They are simple to learn and suitable for people of all ages. They take eight to ten minutes to complete. The Qigong Exercise Therapy for Back Pain is adapted mainly from Health Qigong Yi Jin Jing (Twelve Limbering Exercises). It is designed to stretch the muscles, ligaments and tendons in the back.
In ancient China, the monk Bodhidharma became aware that the sedentary lifestyle of the meditating monks at the Shaolin Temple was leading to poor health and Chi flow. He created a limbering form by combining Martial Arts and Dao Yin Qigong.

The shaping of the mouth and tongue resonates the sound, which stimulates the organ’s function.
